A Word About The Sun

It was already
That time of the day
That ushers the day away.

Across the sky
The weary sun
Seemed to sashay away
As we sat across her
Beholding her grace;
Perhaps the noblest of ways
To waste an evening away.

And in their typical way
My friends started again
In that comical exuberance
That comes on a mouth
After a meal has put the belly
in protuberant jubilance.

They said to me
“You are the one

With the fancy degree
Tell us about the sun
Something, you know, of intrigue”.

I became silent, who wouldn’t be
If asked of such a beautiful thing
I looked across me
Four or five feet from mine
Uduak sat like an elegant plant
Her crystally eyes, smiling at mine.

I took a sigh
Then pointed at her

And said to my friends
With quite dreamy eyes.

Tell me a word
About those eyes
Those eyes that tell stories
Without a word.

And then I will tell you
Whatever you want;
I’ll tell you about the Sun
I’ll tell you of Venus
I’ll tell you of Saturn
I’ll tell you of planets
Of planets not yet found.

Hi there just wanted to give you a brief heads up and let you know a few of the images aren’t loading properly.
I’m not sure why but I think its a linking issue. I’ve tried it in two different web browsers and both show the same outcome.
